End of year July dates & Return in September dates
All swimmers (excluding Ashwicke Hall) lessons will finish week beginning 22nd July 2024. This will be fun week! There will be more information to follow.
All swimmers return to the pool from week beginning Monday 2nd September 2024.
Ashwicke Hall reminders
This is a polite reminder to all swimmers at Ashwicke hall that your swimming lessons end for the year on Thursday 27th June 2024. This is due to the school running a private summer camp where public are not permitted access to the facility. Your fee’s will be paused in July to reflect this.
Your lesson will resume in line with the rest of the swim school in September. Emails and text messages have been sent via the hub regarding this
Lifesaving week
Our staff at Neptune are super excited to be running our yearly Lifesaving week in June!
During week beginning Monday 17th July, all normal lesson will be paused and our swimmers will be learning personal survival skills and lifesaving skills. This has been a long standing tradition at Neptune and swimmers always have a great time. In the 13 years we have been supporting RLSS Drowning Prevention Week, these skills have saved the lives of several children on the swim school who have found themselves in a dangerous situation.
Without these skills embedded into swimmers learn to swim journey, these outcomes may not have been possible.
All swimmers will be asked to bring a t-shirt to wear over their swimwear and you will be asked (where possible) to leave your goggles in the changing rooms. We hope parents will support these sessions and keep an eye on social media for reminders!
Crash courses
Neptune is very excited to be running our ever-popular crash course swimming lessons this summer. These lessons always prove a big hit with customers old and new and provide a great way to fine-tune some swimming skills or introduce new swimmers to the water. Lessons run for 30 mins daily for a week at both Starfish Hydro in Chippenham and Seahorse Hydro in Trowbridge. Lessons are suitable for children aged 3yrs + and are open to both current Neptune swimmers and new customers.

Teacher Training Session
There is a busy summer ahead for our tutors here at Neptune with 2 STA Award in Teaching Swimming courses planned at Starfish Hydro Pool. As always we will need as many swimmers as possible to join us to help with the practical elements of these teacher training courses.
Swimmers need no experience and do not need to be part of Neptune. They simply need to be over the age of 3 years old through to swimmers who are Jellyfish 1 or SE level 4 Swimmers can book into as many sessions as they wish and will get to work with various trainee teachers throughout the lessons.

New staff welcome
Neptune are very excited to be welcoming lots of new faces to the teaching team this summer. We have several new trainee teachers joining us to train to become swimming teachers. Our trainee teachers are identifiable in purple t-shirts where our qualified staff where red.
Our teachers work very hard during lessons to not only teach your child vital skills but to impart their knowledge as qualified professionals onto our trainees. So please give our new trainees, Toby, Dexter, Amy, Ciena & Abi a big warm welcome!
Hub reminder including payment cards
This is a quick reminder that all details regarding your child's swimming lessons including upcoming holidays, sickness and payments can be found via your hub. If for whatever reason you need to update your card detail for payment this can only be done via the hub. We are not able to change you card details over the phone
