I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, David Westbrook and my company, Neptune Aquatics (Social Enterprise)

Neptune Aquatics (Social Enterprise) is a dynamic social enterprise powered by a team of passionate and skilled staff. Our main goal is to make hydrotherapy and the advantages of warm water exercise accessible to everyone.

Our Core Values Are:

Include

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from our amazing sessions and services, whether it's for a refreshing hydrotherapy session, fun swimming lessons, or productive work

Educate

Our organisation not only provides education to future leisure staff but also imparts knowledge on how to effectively instruct individuals in swimming and exercise rehabilitation techniques tailored to a wide range of medical conditions.

Inspire

Our mission is to ignite inspiration in every person we interact with, no matter which of our services they use

During our years of service, we have witnessed firsthand the transformative effects hydrotherapy can have on people from all walks of life. From those in the rehabilitation phase to individuals with conditions such as autism, fibromyalgia, and arthritis, to seniors who may find traditional facilities inaccessible.

We are enthusiastic about everything related to swimming pools, and our services reflect that. We offer swimming lessons for all ages, hydrotherapy exercise sessions, and training programs to become a swimming teacher or lifeguard.

Our journey began in 2013 when we established Neptune Aquatics (Social Enterprise) as a family-run, non-profit company with limited liability by guarantee. Starting at a single Special School site in Chippenham, we began providing lessons to only six children. Since then, we have expanded into a full range of facility management, hydrotherapy services, swimming, and water-based activities for people of all ages.

Today, Neptune is a thriving social enterprise led by enthusiastic and experienced staff. We presently manage several hydrotherapy pools on behalf of schools and councils across North Wiltshire and Dorset, turning what was once a costly asset into a lucrative revenue source.

We are now working with partners to bring our management model to other hydrotherapy pools that are struggling to keep open.

Our Social Enterprise objectives

  • Objective 3 - Increase participation opportunities in swimming and hydrotherapy

  • Objective 4 - To promote the positive contribution that swimming and hydrotherapy activity makes towards developing health benefits, social inclusion and community cohesion

  • Objective 5 - Work in partnership with local, county, regional, and national community groups and organisations; and such other objects and activities as may be determined by the Directors.
