  • Trainee Pool Supervisor

    We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our team as a Trainee Pool Supervisor. 


    This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about swimming and is interested in pursuing a career in leisure. 


    No previous experience or training is required as full training will be provided. This opportunity would suit someone who would like to fit hours around school or college. 


    What does the training involve?

    The Trainee Pool Supervisor will also take the STA Level 2 Pool Emergency Responder Course. The course will teach the rainee Pool Supervisor how to perform vital rescue skills, including first aid and CPR. 


    Responsibilities:

    • Supervising pool activities including lessons, classes and sessions.
    • Assisting in the supervision of the pool area including monitoring water quality, cleanliness, and safety.
    • Providing customer service to pool users and responding to inquiries, complaints and emergencies.
    • Assisting in the implementation of pool safety policies and procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Passionate about swimming and aquatics management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
    • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
    • Willingness to undertake training and gain certification in pool responding and first aid.

  • Trainee Swimming Teacher

    What does the training involve?


    A Trainee Swimming Teacher will work with our qualified swimming teacher team, before undertaking the STA Level 2 Award in Swim Teaching. This course will teach the Trainee Swimming Teachers how to work with children in the water and the basic techniques of swim teaching.


    The Trainee Swimming Teacher will also take the STA Level 2 Pool Emergency Responder Course. The course will teach the Trainee Swimming Teachers how to perform vital rescue skills, including first aid and CPR. This course will also allow the right candidate the chance to work on shift as a Pool Supervisor. 


    These courses are nationally recognised qualifications


    There will be further training opportunities to undertake specialist qualifications such as Baby and Pre-school, working with people with disabilities and moving into swim coaching.


    Responsibilities: 

    • Assist experienced teachers in planning and delivering swimming lessons
    • Learn how to assess and monitor student progress
    • Ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and their families
    • Keep accurate records of student attendance and progress 

    Requirements:

    • Passion for swimming and teaching
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
    • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
