Dear Neptune Swimmers,
It is with the deepest regret that we have to circulate our plans for a second lockdown. We have started the year of swimming so strongly and I want to publicly thank you for the support you have given us. I also want to thank all the staff for their efforts to provide a safe and secure teaching environment, while still maintaining all the aspects that make Neptune who we are.
However from Thursday 5th November, inline with the national lockdown all swimming lessons will be cancelled, at present until Thursday 3rd December. While we understand that the national lockdown could last longer we must work to the dates provided to us by the government.
Lessons will run as planned until Wednesday 4th November, with the exception of:
First Step Gym, Corsham
- Monday 2nd November - Due to pool maintenance issues the pool water is too cold for us to run. A separate message has been sent.
Stourview Hydrotherapy Pool
- Monday 2nd November - Lessons will start when we come back from the national lockdown.
These missed lessons will be made up on the 21st December 2020 in your normal time slots.
The Fees for November will go out as normal. Unfortunately we have to send the Direct Debit to the bank for processing on the 26th of each month, this means we would have been unable to stop this month's payment. As with the previous lockdown, we are unable to set the Direct Debit to £0.00. We will therefore be charging the nominal fee of £2.00 in December. This small contribution will allow us to continue to operate the Member’s Hub and keep people fully up-to-date with all the latest information.
As we were set to announce after the half term break, Our DD software will be integrating into the members hub in November, This gives us a much greater control over our direct debits and can enable us to add credits to you account rather than waiting for cheques to arrive in the post for refunds.
We were hoping to be able to explain this to customers face to face on arrival at lessons but we will not be able to do this now. We are still going to go ahead with the planned switch over so please follow the instructions below carefully to ensure you don't lose your space with us.

If you havent already done it - Can we ask all parents to log into the hubs and set up their Direct Debit details by the 15th November 2020. Details of how to do this can be found below. All credits will be applied to this account and not your current Direct Debit subscription, which will be canceled between now and the 16th November 2020 (you do not need to arrange this, as it will all be completed by us). Your fees will then return to the normal rate from January 2021.
You only need to set up your Direct Debit once and it will run for all children
If you don’t set up your Direct Debit through the Member’s Hub your place on the Swim School will be cancelled and your space offered out. If you are going to struggle with setting up the Member’s Hub or to continue with the swimming lessons please get in contact with us via the Member’s Hub.
Finally I want to thank everyone for their support over the last few months. It has been great to see you all again after lockdown and we can't wait to welcome everyone back on the 3rd December 2020.
