Did you know that alongside teaching lessons many of our Senior Teachers are also qualified to lead a wide range of aquatic courses, including training new swimming teachers for Neptune and many other swim schools? To qualify our trainee swimming teachers need practice in teaching children during their time on the the course.
That's where we need your help!
Swimming lessons with our trainees.
Our expert team will have spent 28 hours training our new swimming teachers so they are ready to teach their first lessons before qualifying as fully fledged swimming teachers! Team Neptune will be on hand to supervise the lessons and evaluate the trainee teachers as part of their course. Each trainee teacher will need between 4 and 6 children in each of their lessons.
How you can help!
We're looking for children to join lessons with our trainees at
Ashwicke Hall School, Colerne (near Chippenham, Wiltshire)
from
Wednesday 28th - Friday 30th July
. Your child will need to swim with Neptune and we'll put them into a class at the same level as their current lessons (Jellyfish Swimmers will need to be confident swimming in deep water.) We'll need a parent to stay onsite whilst the children are in the water. Each swimmer will need to book for a minimum of 1 hour, and they'll take part in two lessons during this time. There's no maximum number of lessons you can book, so if you'd like your child to stay and swim all morning that's fine, or they could even swim for an hour every day over the three days. As well as helping us out the lessons will be great extra swimming practice for your child!
Lessons will run every day as follows:
Wednesday 28th & Thursday 30th July (9:30 - 12:30pm)
How to sign up
If you'd like your child to join lessons and you'll need to book online, letting us know how many 1 hour sessions you'd like to attend. Each 1 hour session will cost £1 per child, so if you'd like to swim every day you'll get the equivalent of a terms worth of lessons for just £3! We look forward to seeing lots of you in the water at Ashwicke Hall!
